NYC Service Public Health AmeriCorps
80 full-time AmeriCorps members will perform public health-related direct service and capacity-building activities in New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) developments and with nonprofit partners. AmeriCorps members will help increase the health, knowledge and condition for NYCHA residents as well as increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and program outreach at the program's host sites. Areas served are Bronx County, Kings County, New York County, Queens County, and Richmond County.
